– Professional installation. – Equipment is built with professional quality components, meaning you get superior images and peace of mind that your equipment isn’t going to fail prematurely.
It’s not just about the number of megapixels your camera has, other things to consider are the quality of components in the camera and recorder, do you have a DVR or NVR? what processor is used in the camera, etc?
You can see the difference in picture quality in the photos below which show a professional 5MP IP, NVR system and a DIY 5MP DVR system.
Although I must concede that some of the better quality DIY systems do offer a level of security if you are on a budget.
